The leaving party

I am now in the final mad push of packing- and then removing everything from the suitcase to inspect it, and then repacking it. And then doing that ad infinitum until the last possible minute, I suspect. So the leaving party was a very welcome distraction!

Relocating to England was one of the best things we've ever done. The primary reason for this is the closeness we now enjoy with our extended family, particularly Uncle Ranjit, Auntie Mina, Jaykar, Anita, and their three beautiful boys. I felt especially blessed last night as Anita and fam hosted a leaving party for me, filled with party games, great food, Dairy Milk, and of course, family. They really sent me off in style. I was a bit sad thinking about how much I will miss them, and that the boys will all look and act quite different in 6 months.
